Carbon fiber surface modification method based on nylon composite materials

Nylon (PA) has excellent comprehensive performance as a typical type of thermoplastic resin and carbon fiber (CF). CF enhanced PA (CFRPA) composite materials have the advantages of recyclable, easy processing, short molding time, and good impact resistance compared to thermosettic composite materials. The mechanical properties of CFRPA composite materials first depend on the nature of CF and PA resin matrix. At the same time, the interface adhesion between the fiber and the matrix largely determines the final mechanical properties of the composite material. However, without any non -polarity of the CF surface, there are very few surface activity functions and strong chemical inertia. However, because the PA resin matrix is usually polarized because it contains a large amount of amide, resulting in infiltration between CF and PA resin matrix matrix. Poor sex, weak interface bonding power, restricting the application of CFRPA composite materials in more fields. Therefore, in order to expand the scope of the application of CFRPA composite materials and obtain more powerful CFRPA composite materials, the CF surface must be modified. By the modification of the CF surface, the roughness of the CF surface can be effectively increased, and a large number of active functional groups are introduced on its surface to improve the infiltration between fiber and matrix, and thereby improving the mechanical mixing force and the mechanical mixing force between the fiber surface and the matrix. Chemical bonding force is effectively transmitted between the fiber and the matrix interface. The CF surface modification method based on PA composite materials can be divided into the following three categories: dry method modification, wet method modification, and multi -scale modification of nanomaterials.
